Chesapeake Bay Vintage Skipjack Sailboat Drawing T-Shirt

This ladies t shirt is decorated with a vintage style Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Sailboat logo. Designed for harvesting oysters in harsh winter weather, skipjack sailing vessels once dominated oyster beds of the Chesapeake Bay. During the oystering seasons, these beautiful boats filled the harbours of waterfront cities including Annapolis, Baltimore, Cambridge, Crisfield, and others. The Chesapeake Bay skipjack sailing vessel was one of the last sailboats to be used for commercial fishing. In recent decades, a fleet of skipjacks have been restored and once again these beautiful craft sail the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.
