Chestnut mare horse portrait equine painting watch

Gitana is the name of the beautiful chestnut mare on this watch. This amazing horse has a long flowing mane that's thick and lush. Her sweet and loving personality can been seen through her expressive eyes. This amazing deep brown horse was a pleasure to paint, but I especially enjoyed working on her wonderful mane. Sadly Gitana has passed on, she was a much loved family pet and she is a very special part of my equine portrait collection.
