It is a solid flag with four small stars and one bigger star in the upper left corner. All of the stars are yellow, against a red background. The flag of the Communist Party of China is similar but replaces all five stars with a hammer and sickle. China is the most populous and wealthiest country in both Asia. It is a one-party socialist republic that has a strong market economy and a sophisticated culture that goes back millennia.
