Printed on this 8" x 10" stretched canvas wall hanging is an original photo by Karen Coffelt of a Teddy Bear Cholla Cactus and yellow brittlebush desert wildflowers at sunset with a view overlooking Apache Junction, Arizona as seen from the Treasure Loop Trail in the Superstition Wilderness just outside of the Lost Dutchman State Park. This area of the Sonoran Desert is home to the legendary Lost Dutchman's gold mine. The story goes that a German immigrant named Jacob Waltz, who was called "The Dutchman" by folks round these parts, found a fortune in gold that he hid in the Superstition Mountains.
