Clove Umebachi A T-Shirt

This is an ume crest pattern. It was designed with reference to the pattern in 'Nihon Monshogaku' by Yoriyoshi Numata, and the drawing method of umebachi in 'Manji no Maryoku, Tomoe no Juryoku' by Tsumao Awazaka (starting from dividing a circle into ten parts according to the mon allocation method). It was drawn with a focus on unity as part of the Umebachi series of the Kaga Maeda family (2013/6/21). / Toshitsugu, the third lord of the Kaga Maeda family, had his second son Toshitsugu establish a branch family with 100,000 koku as the Toyama Domain in Etchu Province, with the permission of the shogunate. This Clove Umebachi was designated as the official crest. It is also called Toyama Umebachi, Hanagata Umebachi (Edo Monshushu), or Hana Ken Umebachi (Mon no Izumi).
