Christmas Cathedral Priest Altar Card

A vintage print that dates from the 15th Century, St Paul's Cathedral, London, England showing a priest in robes of red blue and white standing at the altar that is covered in a decorated cloth, his hands raised in prayer. Upon the altar stands a white mitre adorned in gold, and a what looks like a scroll of scripture. Behind the priest two others dressed in brown white and red cassocks stand at a large pedestal reading from a large book than rests upon it and whose pages are open. The background shows three small windows set in a wall of perhaps dark wood and a small picture of religious significance from which rays of light radiate. A panel that is not part of the interior of the chapel stands above the scene, decorated with two peacocks and a colourful floral design. Although this religious scene is relevant to the spiritual and religious relevance of Christmas, it would be appropriate those who wish to express their faith at other times of the year, at Mass or other events in the Church calendar.
