Jolabokaflod (roughly translated to Christmas Book Flood) is the wonderful Icelandic tradition of giving books on Christmas Eve and spending the rest of the night reading them and eating chocolates. There is no better way to spend the evening for children and adults alike! Start your own new family tradition and give the gift of a love of reading to your family! This adorable, original pillowcase features a mouse family gifting their books and eating fancy chocolate treats while relaxing and reading their new novels. I created this design for my own family's book exchange which has become one of our favourite parts of the Christmas holiday season!
