A wonderful poem by poet Oliver Herford (1863-1935) graces the front of this artistic unique card. "I heard a bird sing in the dark of December./A magical thing,/And sweet to remember./We are nearer to Spring than we were in September./ I heard a bird sing in the dark of December." My original artwork in dark blue and white, a variety of woodland animals in stylised foliage, is ornate and reminiscent of Delft or oriental Chinoiserie pottery.Animals include a deer, bear, bunny rabbits, birds, fox, and more. The inside sentiment is, "Season's Greetings" which makes this card appropriate for any winter occasion or even New Year's wishes. There is also a customisable area for preprinted names or other information. Easy to personalise using the text template and edit menu. Original art & design by Tuzi Williams.
