Church Steeple Silent Night Holiday Card
Peace Lutheran Church has served the Hilltop neighbourhood of Tacoma, WA since 1909. Here its original white tower with brown, shingled, cone-shaped steeple is outlined in blue and white against a black night sky. A small, white cross sits at the very top. In between the two, the eaves form a zigzag pattern around all four sides of the rectangular tower. In white script are some words from the Christmas hymn: "Silent Night, Holy Night." The image is bordered by a thin strip of bright blue. Merry Christmas! Copyright Gail Storrs 2007.
