From a old French-language book on military uniforms, and described as (excuse my poor French) as ‘These men belong to a ragged army. The Army of Italy lifted by Bonaparte.’ The date shown is 1796, but the print is cited as being from 1830. Whatever the date, the image looks fantastic on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Note that the scene appears on both sides of the pillow, in mirror image. Wanna see more old? I was really pleased with the quality of these cushions. I bought two large ones and two small ones and they were just as expected, well possibly better! The cotton fabric is perfect for outdoors and the personalization is true to the design I created online.
