"City of Erie" Cleveland & Buffalo Line 1900 Poster

Built in 1898 by the Detroit Dry Dock Co. in Wyandotte, Michigan for the Cleveland & Buffalo Transit Co. She defeated the steamer Tashmoo in a memorable race on June 4, 1901 between Cleveland, Ohio and Erie, Pennsylvania, winning by 45 seconds. Known as the "Honeymoon Special", she operated in nightly service between Cleveland and Buffalo, NY. She went out of service in 1937. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
