As far as I'm concerned, this is an ESSENTIAL accessory for any house with more than one sentient person and a dishwasher in it. You may be asking yourself: " why do you need to indicate whether dishes are clean or not? Just PUT THEM AWAY WHEN THEY'RE CLEAN." No, okay, look. When you start the dishwasher, flip the magnet to clean, so that when it stops, your other sentient person living in your house with you doesn't put a dirty dish in with all your new clean dishes. Then you empty the dishwasher and flip the magnet back to dirty. Load as you go, start your dishwasher, and flip! This way, no one has an excuse for leaving a dirty dish in the sink unless the dishwasher is on.

I wanted a nice clean/dirty magnet I could read easily from across the room, and this fits the bill nicely. Magnet's nice and strong, but still easy to grab and flip over (as opposed to a flexible magnet, which is what I had been using before). Looks great. Nice, bright colors (can you call brown "bright?") that look great together and make reading the magnet very easy. Nice.
