My son Michael and I were exploring back roads close to the Northern California Coast, when we found this field of blooming wildflowers. I saw Michael had shifted his attention from the flowers to the clouds above. I got him to hold his pose while I positioned my camera and I captured a scene of a beautiful afternoon as well as a memory of when my son was of an age where we could often explore the world together.
