Cold Mountain Hand Towel
Cold Mountain is an oil painting on canvas of a mountain scenery in wintertime.
There are so many beautiful places in the world, and I love the mountains.
Especially in late autumn or winter, when the mountains are covered with snow and the lakes shimmer icy in the cold mornings. I love the contrast between the dark green pines and the bright white snow. The loneliness is palpable and the air is so clear and clean.
I tried to bring this feeling onto canvas in this painting. And in wintertime, I hang it next to my fireplace.

Even thought the two items were different in size there was no distortion or deterioration in the finished product. There was a warning prior to placing the order that the image might not reproduce well to the size requested but I took a chance and was not disappointed.
