This wonderful Claude Monet card features one of his iconic paintings, The Japanese Footbridge, lovingly digitally restored, brightened and recolored for today. In 1883, Claude Monet and his family moved outside of Paris, to Giverny, where he would paint many of the works that would define him as a pioneer of art. In 1889 Monet painted a bridge that went over the pond in his garden. Throughout 1889 and 1890, Monet painted several canvases depicting the bridge and its surroundings. Featuring the lovely bridge and Monet's famous waterlilies, this Japanese Footbridge card brings the historic location to life,

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
