colourful still life picture of mixed vegetables

This original still life image on this customisable note card was painted in soft pastel, the bright shades and various hues that can be found in soft pastel really bring out the amazing colours of this delicious serving of mixed vegetables. I came to produce this painting of red and green peppers, carrots, courgettes,onions and other veg on a chopping board as a tongue in cheek alternative to the typical still life painting of a “bowl of fruit” which I was asked to paint as part of an art course I was working on, I named the painting “Not A Bowl Of Fruit." This great note card is very handy for sending a quick reminder note perhaps for a special date or maybe a note to remind someone of an upcoming meeting.
