COME and TAKE IT! TEXAS FLAG 1835 Poster
Based upon the original 1835 design of the TEXAS Come and Take it! Flag. Shows touch hole on side of cannon used to set off explosion that launched shell.
It was most famously used during the Texas Revolution in 1835 at the Battle of Gonzales.
The battle was over a cannon that the Mexican authorities had given the town to protect themselves from frequent Comanche raids.
When the state started to revolt, the Mexican troops asked for the cannon back to which they refused. During the battle, the Texans raised a homemade white banner with an image of a star and the cannon painted in black in the centre, over the words 'Come and Take It'.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
