Comet in Night Sky Planner

A blazing comet creates a brilliant fuzzy ball in the night sky, followed by a blue wispy tail as it moves slowly among the stars in this enhanced stellar view. Comets are celestial objects in the solar system that consist of a nucleus of frozen water, frozen gases, small rocks and dust that orbit the Sun in an elliptical path. We see comets when the Sun’s heat vaporises the water and gasses that stream back from the nucleus in a long glowing coma trail.
