A marvellous image by William Blake (1757-1827), inspired by a comet he witnessed in 1811. The print was found in the artist’s estate from where lots of my stuff comes from. Her copy was on very old rag paper and seemed to be hand-painted. Maybe a rendering of an early 19th century tourist souvenir? An art student’s copy? The real thing?? Seems to be made of good quality rubber, it is thicker than my current one, which really shows that they have taken their time to get quality materials. So far so good , i am very pleased. The product is very vibrant and exactly as it shows on the website!
