Cool Ice Blue WaterDrops Melting Icicles Zen Quote Poster
Icicles melt and drip from a sunny sill in the middle of winter. The weather is frosty but the sun is warm enough to melt the icicles. You can see a round water drop at the bottom of the photo, which has fallen from one icicle, and another dripping from the next icicle. The Zen quote reads "nature does not hurry yet everything is accomplished" by Laozi aka Lao Tsu, a Chinese writer and philosopher born approx 601 BC. It is true. This Zen design is done in shades of aqua and ice blue. Aqua and blue are colours of mental refreshment, calm, intuition, truth in dreams, imagination, trust and the flow of serendipity. Blue relates to yin energy, the night and introspection. Aqua is a slightly more active colour than blue because it contains some green, which is nurturing and inspiring. The aqua colour shade is lighter in the centre and darker around the edges. There's a deep blue border on this image, straight lines that vibrate harmoniously with organic elements such as the single water drop at lower right. There's space and airiness throughout this artwork, and the negative space (ie the space between or around objects) gives this Zen design a sense of transcendence. In Zen philosophy and Feng Shui designing, elements of nature (for example a water fountain, dish of water, or art such as seascapes or even blue wiggly lines) can soothe the mind and emotions, expel unwanted bad energies and help cultivate a feeling of happiness and inner peace. Zen favours simplicity, clean lines and the influence of nature and organic forms. A single flower has more aesthetic value than a whole bouquet. Meditation and mindfulness are important aspects of Zen, as well as understanding and harmony with the natural world. Zen buddhism is a school of Mahayana Buddhism that originated in China at the beginning of the Tang dynasty (618- 907). It soon spread to Vietnam, then Korea, then Japan, evolving into different forms as time went by. Original photo art by M Sylvia Chaume, Canada. Happy blessings!

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
