Cove Fort Magnet
Cove Fort, UT Cove Fort is the only fort built by the Latter-day Saints in the 1800's that still stands. Built twenty miles south of Kanosh and twenty-four miles north of Beaver Fort Cove offered protection and refreshment to the travelers of the Mormon Corridor. It was a stop for two stagecoach lines. The black volcanic rock fort was constructed in 1867.
