Craigflower Schoolhouse Holiday Card

In 1854, Craigflower Schoolhouse was commissioned by the Hudson’s Bay Company to provide education for the children of farm employees. The two-story building is built in Georgian Revival style with a single ground-floor classroom and six rooms that housed the teacher, their family and student boarders. It’s a national historic site and holds the distinction of being one of the oldest public buildings in British Columbia and the oldest schoolhouse in Western Canada.
