Crater Lake is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the United States. The lake is 1943 ft deep, and is the deepest lake in the United States & the 7th deepest in the world. The brilliant blue colour changes constantly depending on your angle of view or the angle of the sun. The colour in these photos has not been altered. The lake is actually this beautiful blue colour. Most of the photos were taken in July. And yes the white stuff is snow still on the ground in July.
