Desde então tornou-se um símbolo intrínseco a Portugal, usado, por exemplo, nas velas das naus do tempo dos Descobrimentos, pela Força Aérea Portuguesa, nos navios da Marinha Portuguesa e na bandeira da Região Autónoma da Madeira. É usada também no brasão de Tomar, juntamente com a Cruz Templária, cidade que foi sede da Ordem dos Templários no Reino de Portugal e da Ordem de Cristo, sucessora da anterior.

The T-shirt is great quality! The cotton is thick and does not lose its shape. I bought this as a gift last Christmas and since then it has been washed many times and I haven't seen any stretching or tears. The size fits perfectly. The printing is excellent. The colours and the design were exactly as shown in the picture. One year after, it hasn't faded due to washing.

The item was heavier than I thought, which is a good thing. A lot of t-shirts these days are made from low quality thin cotton which don't last. This is much thicker cotton that should last much longer. The print was centred perfectly. It is a good size and the colours are nice and vibrant. Exactly as the image shows.
