The mug itself is as rugged as any, and ours have not chipped or faded after many uses. We have been careful though, and haven't machine washed them. Mug printing has been a little inconsistent, but I'm a nit-picker. Occasionally, edges or small sections of the art have been printed in soft focus, which becomes problematic if there is fine detail or text in your design. The print has also been a little on the dark side- subtle shades of dark grey tend to disappear into blackness. Zazzle's terrific replacement guarantee if the product is faulty should give you peace of mind to indulge in a mug or two!

What a beautiful mug, I was really pleased with the mug. The printing was brilliant, wonderful colours
