Meditations on a squash! This Pacific Tree Frog was seeking a few moments of serenity on a ripening squash. My subject blended in with the green colours of its environment, eluding all but the most keen observers. When we had returned from a circuit of the gardens, s/he was still sitting there. Photographed in late August 2016 at the UBC Botanical Garden.
