Cute Quokka Animal Wildlife Australia, 520 pieces Jigsaw Puzzle

Can you think of anything better and cuter than a quokka? Yes, indeed, six Quokkas! This unique and very popular jigsaw puzzle combines 4 quokka puzzles in 1. The perfect activity to make you happy while being stuck inside. Great quality time indoor with friends and family, ideal to keep the kids busy and entertained! Get one for yourself, and buy one to gift to someone else to brighten them up too! [This puzzle is carefully designed to fit perfectly on this size puzzle; therefore you can't change it to a different size - however, the other sizes are also available in my store in case you prefer a different difficulty (ie 1014 pieces, 252 pieces etc). If you’re ever lucky enough to meet a Quokka, the happiest animal in the world, chances are you’ll break out in a grin. This popular marsupial is synonymous with Perth’s favourite holiday spot, Rottnest Island – a short ferry ride from the Western Australian port of Fremantle. In fact, it’s how the island got its name – Dutch explorer Willem de Vlamingh named it ‘Rotte Nest’ (‘rats’ nest’) in 1696, mistaking the ubiquitous small macropods (the kangaroo and wallaby family) on the beautiful Mediterranean-like island as giant rats. Of course the traditional owners of Rottnest Island, the Whadjuk Noongar people, knew of the island long before any European connection. They call it Wadjemup, which means ‘place across the water where the spirits are’. Rottnest wasn't always an island. Noongar people used to walk there during the last ice age around 6,500 years ago when lower sea levels meant it was connected to the mainland. For them it was an important place to meet and conduct ceremonies. Around 10,000 Quokkas live on Rottnest Island today. Very small populations also survive in the mainland’s south-west forests such as those near Northcliffe. Overall the species is listed as vulnerable due to predation by feral animals (cats and foxes), altered fire patterns and habitat loss.

This puzzle made a really great gift, my parents loved it! Unfortunately it was missing one puzzle piece, thankfully an edge and not someone's face, lol.

This puzzle was adorable. It was given to an adult who loves Great Pyrenees. It wasn't a quick puzzle to assemble because of all the white, but he had fun doing it. The quality of this puzzle was excellent.

Love this! Hard but I completed it in about 10 hours. Plan to frame and hang on wall with my other Kandinsky puzzles. Perfect for my mid-century modern style! Excellent! Looked even better than I expected. Puzzles pieces are thicker than other brands with a beautiful glossy finish.
