This iPad cover is made from a very sturdy cardboard type material. The iPad sits inside snugly and the black elastic band to keep it closed is doing its job. I showed it off to my friends, and they oohed and ahhed over how pretty and sturdy it is! It's not as heavy as the iPad covers offered in big box stores, and is so much prettier. It does a great job! The durability is amazing I have had it for a year and my iPad doesn't have a single scratch. My iPad has not been scratch or broke even though my dogs have stood on them. It is an amazing product the down side is that the outer layer around the spine of the case is peeling of but this has only just started happening after a year. I really recommend this product. The quality has been amazing. My design has come out better than I expected. The printing has picked out every single colour and made the pictures look amazing.
