Dance of the Shadow Mouse Mat

Some memories do not fade. They keep moving. A blurred girl appears to dance within a haze of light and shadow, her flowing silhouette emerging from a narrow boundary at the edge of the image. Her form is softened by grain and motion, making it difficult to tell whether she is truly there or only a fragment preserved in memory. This work explores movement, memory, and the fragile space between presence and absence. The dancing figure becomes a fleeting trace, suspended between stillness and motion, as though something forgotten is continuing to move just beyond reach. Part of Mystique in Enigma (MIE), a visual art project exploring the voices of things that cannot be seen.
