This is a reproduction of “Dancers”of 1896 by Franz von Stuck. The artist moved from near Passau to Munich when he was fifteen to begin his artistic education. He became the foremost of the Symbolist artists in Munich of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He co-founded the Munich Secession which formed a long-lasting rebellion on the part of young artists from the Academic styles of the older generation. He gained great acclaim and in 1905 was raised to the Bavarian aristrocracy by King Otto. This masterpiece was painted when he was thirty-three years old. He died in 1928 mourned as the “last prince of art of Munich’s grat days”. This masterpiece is an oil on canvas measuring 99.1 by 116.8 centimetres and is in the National Gallery in London.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
