The image is fantastic. It looks like it is textured but, in fact, is a smooth surface like any other mousepad. I'm not sure how it would look in the other colors but the black/gray combination is impressive. I highly recommend this if you are looking for something unique. The printing is superb, I was actually surprised that the image wasn't 3-dimensional.
