This photo features an illustration from Dead Eye and the Deep Blue Sea, a graphic memoir by the Cambodian artist Vannak Anan Prum. Vannak was held captive as a slave for four years on a Thai fishing boat before being sold into slavery on a Malaysian plantation for another year.
