Decoupage Whimsical Conure Parrots Vibrant Colours Tissue Paper
In a little town, there lived two parrots named Polly and Percy. Polly was a vibrant yellow, and Percy was a striking red. They were the best of friends and loved to chat all day long, earning them the nickname “2 Chatty Chicks.”
One sunny morning, Polly and Percy overheard the humans talking about the upcoming Fourth of July parade. Excited by the idea, they decided to join in the festivities. Polly found a tiny Uncle Sam hat, and Percy donned a miniature American flag cape. They were ready to dazzle the crowd!
As the parade began, Polly and Percy perched on a float decorated with red, white, and blue streamers. They squawked and chirped patriotic tunes, much to the delight of the spectators. However, things took a comical turn when Polly spotted a shiny object in the crowd.
“Look, Percy! A shiny thing!” Polly exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.
Percy, always up for an adventure, followed Polly as she flew off the float in pursuit of the shiny object. The crowd gasped as the two parrots swooped and dived, causing a bit of chaos. They flew through the cotton candy stand, leaving a trail of sticky feathers, and narrowly avoided a collision with the marching band.
Finally, they landed on a little girl’s shoulder. She was holding a sparkly pinwheel, the source of the shiny distraction. Polly and Percy stared at it, mesmerised.
“Well, that was quite the adventure,” Percy said, catching his breath.
The little girl giggled and gently petted the parrots. “You two are the stars of the parade!” she declared.
Polly and Percy puffed up with pride. They had unintentionally become the highlight of the day. As they returned to their float, the crowd cheered louder than ever. Polly and Percy waved their wings, basking in the applause.
From that day on, Polly and Percy were known as the Patriotic Parrots, and every Fourth of July, they led the parade with their comical antics and infectious enthusiasm. They had found their place in the town’s heart, proving that even the smallest creatures could make the biggest impact.
And so, the Patriotic Parrots’ Parade became a beloved tradition, filled with laughter, joy, and a touch of feathered mischief. 🦜🎉

Custom 14.8 g/m² Tissue, Size: 25.4 cm x 35.56 cm (10" x 14")
The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.

I used this paper to decopague an old chest of drawers. Paper was a good quality and adhered to painted surface well. Has dried really well with no shrinkage causing splits. Printing quality as good as expected
