Conceived in the spring of 1986 during a time of serious personal trials in the Greiner family, “Divine Servant” ® is the first Christian composition given by God to the artist evangelist, Max Greiner, Jr. The copyrighted and trademarked design and name are historically unique in the world of art. The composition is considered a masterpiece by many. Greiner art is collected in all 50 states and more than 65 countries. The poignant composition, based on John 13 in the Bible, is now recognised as an international symbol of Christ’s humility and servanthood. “Divine Servant” ® depicts the Messiah, in the “Upper Room”, on the night before His crucifixion, when He tried to distil the essence of His earthly ministry to His Disciples by washing their feet.
