The Douglases were one of Scotland's most powerful families and this is the accepted Douglas Clan/Family tartan. It was first published in 1819 and was designed by Wilsons of Bannockburn. The fabric is soft and fluffy, feels great on the skin. The quality seems to be very good, I have not yet tested how absorbent the fabric is. The colors were vivid, the lines of the design clear, all in all, a great result.
