Earth Ground Kanji Japanese Calligraphy Postcard

A kanji is the Japanese word for Chinese character. Chinese characters represent an idea into one character. Typically, one part of the kanji is the meaning of the character, while the other gives it the sound. They are usually combined with other kanji to make complex words. This beautiful postcard has Japanese calligraphy for the kanji 地. It can mean earth or ground. When used on its own, earth is pronounced as "chi".
