I had been looking for ways to get a more quirky image while at Edinburgh Castle, Scotland on one particular summer visit to my homeland. Specifically, I was looking for a way to get a shot looking down the barrel of one of the famous cannons, hopefully aimed at a recognisable area of Scotland’s Capital. Only one such gun offered the kind of view that I was looking for, and this was it – conveniently aimed at Arthur’s Seat – a one time volcano on the edge of this historic city.
