Eduard Steinbrück - Children bathing, 1834. A picture that makes me think of a dream or a fairy tale. Small girls in shining white dresses against the dark background of a forest and a brook. Quite magical, if you ask me. Eduard Steinbrück (German, 1802-1882) painted mostly historical subjects and was a member of the Düsseldorf school.
