Nice quality stein with good solid weight. Made lovely gift. Printing was great with nice color contrasts. Only surprise was the white of the shield shows as clear (sort of frosted clear like the rest of the mug). This did not detract from the item, was just expecting that area to be solid white with black ermine pattern.

The mug actually exceeded my expectations. It has a very substantial feel to it and is enjoyable to use. The printing is very nice - just as expected. Since the mug is frosted glass, I knew the colors would be more subdued than the image online. Since I could add my initial, I can now keep up with my mug.
