    Egg Lighthouse is one of the more unusual styled lighthouses. Rather than a tower structure the light sits atop of a building formerly used by the lighthouse keeper as their living quarters. The island is now closed to visitors during the bird nesting season. Location: Located on Rock Island in Frenchman Bay, about four miles southeast of Bar Harbour.
