This design features a painting by the French artist Victor Gabriel Gilbert (1847–1933). It shows elegant couples wearing formal dress and dancing in a wonderfully opulent ballroom. It is a scene of luxury and beauty. The women are wearing long flowing dresses and the men are wearing formal tuxedo suits. The grand ballroom has neo-classical columns around its interior; there are impressive murals on the ceiling. The room is lit by glass chandeliers. The original French title of the painting is "Le bal ou une soirée élégante", which translates as "The ball or an elegant evening", and it was first painted circa 1890.
