Embers Unfolding feels like the moment after the chorus fades, when the room is still humming and the last notes hang in the air. It moves like a slow-burning instrumental track, built from warm drones, low percussion, and textured distortion that crackles softly beneath the surface. The reds and rusted tones read as sustained chords and heat-soaked harmonics, while darker flecks feel like percussive hits or glitches breaking through the melody. This piece carries the rhythm of something breaking down and becoming gentler, as if the song has finished raging and is now breathing out, letting the fire settle into glow. It is reflective, intimate, and quietly powerful, like embers shifting long after the flame is gone. This piece was created by my mother Meghan Humlie. I am able to use it with her permission.
