This is a quality reproduction of "Embroidered Panels" by Margaret MacDonald, created in 1902. The panels are linen with silk appliqué and bead decoration. Margaret MacDonald, also known as Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh, was a Scottish artist whose design work became one of the defining features of the "Glasgow Style" during the 1890s. She was also the wife of the famous Glasgow designer and architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
