Epona Greeting Card
Epona is the continental Celtic Goddess of horses, fertility, and abundance. Shrines to Her were set up in stables, and She proved so popular the Romans took Her as their own. She is depicted within the Uffington White Horse, the figure of a horse cut into the chalk in Oxfordshire, England. Two of the little wild horses of the Camargue in southern France stand to either side of Her, and Her lap is full of treats. Art by Thalia Took, in watercolor pencils.
