Equestrian Monument to Sir John Hawkwood, Uccello
Funerary Monument (or Equestrian Monument) to Sir John Hawkwood (1436) by Paolo Uccello (1397-1475) is a vintage Renaissance fine art portrait painting. A fresco commemorating English condottiero John Hawkwood, commissioned in 1436 for Florence's Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. The fresco is an important example of art commemorating a soldier-for-hire in the Italian peninsula and is a seminal work in the development of perspective.

Creator Review
Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world! My Nan loved my artwork too and the picture of us inside helped her remember who I was as she has Alzheimer's. Crisp and clear. Bright and colorful true to the original artwork I created. The photo we placed inside also looked great and clear.
