    Victorian eye - optical advertisement - Simple Eyes were great advertisements for opticians in the Victorian era -- and this one is a beautiful black ink illustration of an eye advertisement and curly Vintage writing, reminiscent of the days of old westerns and vintage eye doctors. The background is aged brown paper. The advertisement says, "California Optical Co., Scientific & Strictly Reliable, Manufacturing Opticians". … There's an antique sunburst around the eye, and the swirly letters circle the eye as well. The vintage eye advertising is a great addition to gifts for people who love old-fashioned advertising art.
