The F-35C Lightning II is an all-weather stealth combat aircraft designed for US Navy aircraft carriers. The supersonic US Navy F-35C jet fighter features larger wings for improved low-speed control, stronger landing gear for the stresses of carrier arrested landings and a tailhook for use with carrier arrestor cables. The US Navy F-35C has greater payload and range than the other F-35 variants.
