Faceless Ghosts - this one is a little creepy! A few months back I visited Japan (had an awesome time!) and it really left an indelible mark on me, especially my creative side. They have a fascinating history of beliefs, stories, mythologies - many involving spirits, yokai, bakemono, and ghosts! There is creature called a Noppera-bō (faceless ghost) who is sometimes depicted as using Japanese "Noh Masks" to hide their blank faces. Noh Masks are already a little creepy (if you ask me!) - but very cool, I was able to see some particularly lovely ones on my trip. Here I've painted a lovely maiden in the woods with two faceless ghosts beside her. Is she some sort of spirit herself? Who can say? I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
