Faintail New Zealand Aotearoa Bird T-Shirt
Fantail New Zealand Native Bird PIWAKAWAKA Fantails are wonderful birds, friendly, active and agile. The birds in this print are drawn incorporating Maori Koru patterns. The koru (Māori for "loop") is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolising new life, growth, strength and peace. I made stencils or 6 NZ birds a few years ago and made an outdoor mural with them. I decided to recreate my designs so I redrew them. This is the Third of the series of six Native birds.
