Fight Between a Lion and a Tiger Card
This design features a painting by the English artist James Ward (1769–1859), who specialised in depicting animals. It shows a ferocious battle between wild and dangerous beasts. The lion is grabbing the tiger's body and biting into its flesh, while the tiger is trying to fight back. A small deer also appears to have been squashed and injured by the tiger as the two big cats fight. The animals are in a desolate and rocky environment. The original artwork was painted by James Ward in 1797.

I visited the Watts Gallery earlier this year which was one of our best family days out ever, what a talent Watts was and his wife come to that. The image is perfect for a romantic occasion though I made the mistake of thinking it was a greeting card when in fact it is a postcard - my mistake but easily happens.
Took a little while to print and to be sent from overseas I think. Good quality card and printing.

The artwork and paper quality are good BUT it is only a card and not a bi-fold blank card as I had expected. It was my mistake as I hadn't noticed when ordering. However I think that a single page card would be be very limiting to send to a 90 year old. The quality was excellent.
